Cards Catcher Caught in a Sausagefest (Video)

Imagine stepping out of your dugout and finding yourself smack dab in the middle of a race…featuring 8 ft tall “Wieners.”

If you’re St.Louis Cardinal’s catcher Jason LaRue, you scramble like a squirrel in traffic.  And that’s just what he did after getting caught up in Miller Park’s famous “Wiener Races” in the bottom of the sixth inning of Wednesday’s game.

Considering that LaRue is a) a catcher, and b) covered in equipment, he’s one pretty elusive fellow.

Maybe he just has an aversion to giant sausages dressed like people.
