Magglio Ordonez Auctioning Off…His Hair?

You can get anything, and I mean anything on Ebay.

Which is great if your a sports collectible fan…and a Tigers fan…and a Magglio Ordonez fan.

And if you are one of those Ordonez uber-fans, you’ve probably got all the usual fan items…

Customized jersey–home and away.

Autographed rookie card.

Ordonez bobblehead.

But now you can really call yourself Ordonez’s biggest fan if you win his own personal Ebay auction…for his hair.

Obviously the pic on the right is before Magglio cut off his flowing, umm, jheri curl.

Here’s the hair being auctioned off, just so nobody thinks Ordonez is selling his pubes on Ebay…

And here’s Magglio, with his new haircut…

So there’s just under 3 days left to bid…and bidding has reached (drum roll please)…$6000.

Wow.

But to be fair, along with the Rick James like mess o’locks, you also get 18 tickets to Ordonez’s personal skybox for a game, and an autographed bat…presumably to beat the hair to death when it comes to life and tries to smother you.

Proceeds go to “Imermans Angels,” a cancer based charity, which is not so much funny as it is noble and altruistic…two things which I am not.

But obviously Magglio Ordonez is.
