Ladies, the Right and Wrong Way to Be a Football Fan

Ladies, in football, as with everything else, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do things.

There’s also my way…which is the wrong way, just louder and more in-your-face.

We love it when our women, and even women we don’t know, enjoy football to the point of obsession.  It brings us closer to our female counterparts…while maintaining our manly essence (ie. the smell of Old Spice and whiskey).

So, as a public service to you, the female football fan, I give you the right way, and the wrong way, to cheer on your favorite football team/player.

1. The Right Way

• always wear your team colors
• cheer when your team is successful, boo when something goes against them
• maintain a sense of decorum and class
• don’t drink too much
• look like this girl…and get yourself a clever shirt like hers too

Hot girl + clever shirt = a true fan

If you’re wondering what the shirt means…then you don’t quite understand the double entendre as it pertains to anal sex.

2. The Wrong Way

• sit on your hands and look bored to death
• question every little thing about the game…try reading up on the sport first
• wear a team jersey of a team that’s not even playing in the game
• get drunk off your ass and embarrass yourself and your party
• be this dumbass Lions fan (and her equally lame Roy Williams jersey)

Sloppy drunk, belligerent and fighting with the cops…her parents must be so proud.

These are the (alleged) events, as described by the videographer/Vikings fan…

The two girls in front of us were drunk before the game started. They grabbed one of our signs and trashed it (real classy) because we’re Vikings fans, and then spent most of the first half mocking us instead of watching the game because the Lions were ahead.

They left their seats and we thought they were gone for good but somehow they managed to buy even more beer and get back to their seats. They were spilling beer on themselves, the seats, and some of the other fans. After they spilled quite a bit of beer on the guys in the row below them, they turned around and told them to SIT DOWN. One girl didn’t like that so she poured the rest of her beer on his head. Then I knew it was time to start the camera
