Just Another NFL Sunday in the Bizarro World

If you’d have told me that a) the blacked-out Lions/Browns game would be one of the best of the day, and b) Matt Stafford and Brady Quinn would be the two best QB’s in the NFL yesterday, I would have called you a liar.

A dirty, filthy liar.

But it was obviously opposite day yesterday.  Down was up, left was right, gay was straight, dogs and cats were having sex.

Lets look at some of the odd happenings in the Bizarro NFL yesterday…

1. Brady Quinn went 21-33 for 304 yards and 4 TD’s
2. Matt Stafford one-upped Quinn, going 26-43, 422 yds
   5 TDs, 2 INTs and leading Detroit to a 38-37 win.
3. Kansas City beat the Steelers 27-24
4. The Raiders taking down the Bengals 20-17

What’s that old saying?  “Any given Sunday.”  No freaking kidding.
