Once Again, Charles Barkley Raises the Bar

Leave it to Barkley to take the Sammy Sosa skin lightening debacle to the next level.  Never afraid to speak his mind (he once called his producer a “pussy” on air), Sir Charles had his own take on Sosa’s freakish new appearance.

During Thursday’s NBA doubleheader on TNT, Barkley had white makeup put on his face to mock Sosa.  From the video, it’s pretty obvious Kenny Smith was down with it.  Smith kept shouting “Say it loud!” to which Barkley responded “I’m black and I’m proud.”

Barkley’s best line?  “If I become white, am I allowed to eat chicken and hamhocks?”

Sir Charles–you are allowed to do whatever the hell you want.
