Samuel Dalembert–Snatching Defeat From the Jaws of Victory

OK, I’ve watched this video over, and over, and over, and I still don’t know what the hell happened.  It looks like Samuel Dalembert, at the end of regulation against the Mavericks, blocked Andre Iguodala’s last second three-pointer.

Which isn’t bad, except that Iguodala and Dalembert both play for the Sixers.

The angle in the video doesn’t help things.  On the surface, it looks exactly like what I described above.  Of course, I also thought the chick in “The Crying Game” was pretty hot–until I saw her junk.  And by that disturbing analogy I mean that a different angle might have shown Iggy’s shot was going to miss anyway.

But until that alternate angle makes itself available, I’m going to go with my original story.
