Pair of East Carolina Players Suspended for AutoZone Liberty Bowl…

…for being a couple of friggin’ idiots.

Really, in light of the Gilbert Arenas/Javaris Crittenton locker-room standoff, and the gun charges against four Tennessee hoopsters, 2010 is getting off to a kick-ass start.  But these two fucktards take the cake for stupidity.

Redshirt freshman DB Leonard Paulk and RB Jonathan Williams have been suspended indefinitely, which means they’ll miss Saturday’s AutoZone Liberty Bowl against Arkansas, because they got in a fight and nearly knocked over a table.

No big deal right?  Think again.  The scrap took place at the AutoZone Liberty Bowl awards luncheon, in front of coaches, administration, bowl officials and dignitaries.

But it gets stupider by the second.  Guess what these two dicks were fighting over.

If you said a dessert…ding, ding, ding, you win a set of steak knives.

The Memphis Commercial Appeal reported that Paulk and Williams scuffled during the AutoZone Liberty Bowl awards luncheon and nearly flipped over a table while fighting over a dessert. According to the paper, one player had the other in a headlock and was hitting him.

Wow…I mean, just wow.  A goddamn dessert.  Probably a nanaimo bar or creampuff, something awesome like that.  Really, totally worth getting suspended and missing a bowl game for, that’s for damn sure.
