Report: Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly are Heading to the Altar

This is totally unconfirmed.  Which means it as of yet not been confirmed.  Confirmation is pending.  Got it.

A report from the NY Post has the Yanks MVP planning a November wedding with his uber-smoking hot girlfriend, Minka Kelly.  The date is allegedly set for November 5th, which is good news for you Yankee fans.  The supposed nuptials would take place a good two days after the World Series ends.

How’s that for good planning?

It seems that a curious entry in the scheduling calendar at the extremely upscale and expensive Oheka Castle in Huntington, Long Island, has been placed with the title “JETER wedding.”  Oheka Castle, known for protecting the confidentiality of its clientele, has refused comment.

Props to Jeter and his girl if this is true.  Unlike A-Rod, Tiger Woods, and the countless other athletes who couldn’t keep their swords sheathed after getting married, Jeter did it right.  He sowed his wild oats with a bevy of Hollywood beauties (see Alba, Jessica and Lima, Adriana) in his youth, and now that he’s reached his mid-thirties, he’s ready to settle down for a life of boring monogamy.
