Apparently Colts Fans Don’t Much Care For Second-Place Finishes
After a long, arduous season, one in which you almost grabbed the brass ring but came up short, there’s nothing like landing at the airport and being greeted by throngs of supportive fans, all there to welcome you home, while at the same time congratulating you on a terrific season.
Unless of course you’re the Indianapolis Colts.
Because if you’re the Colts, well, you get greeted by 11 fans either brave or stupid enough to battle the elements (27-degrees and snow) and make their way to the Indianapolis International Airport. That’s right, eleven…not quite a dozen, but hey, at least it’s double digits.
Wait a minute–standing outside in the snow, in 27-degree weather, just to cheer on a bunch of Super Bowl runner-ups? I’m flabbergasted that the number of well-wishers was so high, now that I think about it. I’m going to say those eleven fans are more stupid than brave.
Don’t agree? Check out what one fan of Pierre Garcon, the only Colts receiver to catch a TD pass in the Super Bowl, had to say about her favorite player…
“He is the most amazingest player and has such grace on the field.”
So let me join those eleven idiotic courageous Colts fans in saying congrats to the second-bestest team in the whole wide world, the Indianapolis Colts.
