Darrell Green’s Incredible Feats Will Cause You Great Shame

Darrell Green is a freak of nature. I mean it…the man is not of this Earth.

Anybody who remembers Green playing cornerback for the Skins should remember that the guy was probably the fastest dude in the league. Forget probably–Green, during his playing days, was definitely the fastest player in the NFL.

But it’s been eight years since he retired. In fact, he just turned 50-years-old yesterday. At the half-century mark, surely Green has lost a step or two…right?

Ummm…nope.

Think about that. A 4.43 in the 40-yard-dash. At 50-goddamn-years-old. Seriously, how is this god man not still playing in the NFL? I guarantee he could still shut down most of the receivers in the league, without breaking a sweat…or a hip.

I only hope that when I hit 50, I can still bring it like Green. Hell, I’ll be happy at 50 if I don’t poop myself when I sneeze.
