French Skier With The Epic Fail Moment of these Winter Olympics (So Far)

I wish I had been able to see this when it happened, if only for the joy of witnessing spontaneous epic failure.  I mean, it’s not uncommon for a skier to crash during a downhill run, but great flaming tits, you never expect someone to fall pretty well right out of the gate…not unless they’re drunk, or having a stroke, or something.

Not sure what the problem was with France’s Marion Rolland, but sufficed to say, her Olympic experience has been anything but magical.  Especially since it was she who was the architect of the game’s greatest moment of epic failure–falling approximately two seconds into her downhill run.

Seriously, she wasn’t 30 feet from the gate when she lost it, wrecking her knee in the process.

So, congratulations Marion Rolland–four years of training for a six second cameo, and arguably the funniest moment of the Olympic Games thus far.
