Record Number of People Watch a Glorified Pick-Up Game

So, the NBA had their All-Star game yesterday, at Jerry Jones’ billion dollar rumpus room, Cowboys Stadium. Dwyane Wade took home MVP honors, as the East beat the West, in what can only be described as a defensive showcase, 141-139.
What I can’t believe is that a record crowd of 108,713 shelled out a ton of cash to watch what can only be described as a glorified pick-up game. Wade led the East with 28 points, LeBron had 25, and hometown hero Chris Bosh dropped 23.
In other All-Star game news…
- one woman was ejected for heckling Kobe Bryant. Talk about money well spent.
- further evidence that the NBA All-Star extravaganza is a complete joke–Dwight Howard let’s a three-pointer fly. He nails it, but hey, let’s see him try that shit in a game.
