Tom Brady in Training for his Foxy Boxing Debut

Calm her down there, Pats fans.  I’m just taking a good-natured dig at your precious Tom Brady.  You and I both know he would get killed in the bloodsport known as Foxy Boxing…unless they came up with some NFL-like rules to protect “Pretty Boy” Brady.

Which they most assuredly would.

But seriously, that is Patriots QB Tom Brady sporting the black tank-top and taped hands, and the pictures come courtesy of the always excellent Pro Football Talk, who stumbled upon a blog known as Faded Youth, who had acquired pics of Brady doing a little mano-a-mano training.

Is this earth-shattering news?  Not really.  But there’s something comical about seeing Brady learning the sweet science that is boxing.  Truth be told, it’s a phenomenal way to get in shape, which is exactly what Brady is supposed to be doing this time of year.  He’s foregoing the first week of New England’s voluntary offseason workout program in Foxboro, preferring instead to do his own thing in Beverly Hills.

Ahhh, it must be good to be Tom Brady.
