Toast, that venerable staple of breakfast foods, has long been due for a makeover. Well friends, that time has come.
The delicate geniuses at Pangea Brands have come up with a way of combining your love of baseball with your love of toast. This coming May, Pangea will introduce their
ProToast, a toaster that burns your favorite team’s logo into your toasted bread. The toasters are set to feature teams from the four major sports leagues, and will retail for $34.99…a relatively small price to pay if you’re a diehard fan.
I can’t wait for these to come out…seriously, I can’t. Remember back in the day, when Star Wars
nerds fans, dressed as their fave characters, lined up for days in anticipation of the release of
Star Wars: The Phantom Menace? Yeah, that’ll be me in the Tim Foli jersey, camped outside Dick’s Sporting Goods on May 1st.
Pangea also has plans for a panini press and waffle maker, which I can only hope makes waffles with player’s silhouettes emblazoned on them, because I’d love nothing better than to chow down on a mess of David Ortiz huckleberry waffles.
