In the wake of his arrest on rape charges, Nutrisystem dropped LT as one of their celebrity spokesmen like a bag of dirt.  Not surprising really…guilty or not, this probably won’t go well for Lawrence Taylor, and Nutrisystem ain’t about to wait around and find out.

So then, who do you get to replace a guy like LT, who already had many publicized troubles even before these latest allegations, without getting burned again?  Why, 42-year-old ballplayer Matt Stairs of course–clean as a whistle, bland as vanilla yogurt, and a goddamn Canadian to boot.

But there it is on the Nutrisystem website for all to see.  Gone is the chiseled form of the once-great Lawrence Taylor…in it’s place, the very bland Matt Stairs, looking much like a beer league softball playing accountant.  Still, Stairs looks a helluva lot more appealing than that douchebag Tony Orlando.  Hey Tony, why don’t ya tie a yellow ribbon around your neck and hang yourself, ya rat bastard!
