Tony Soprano Asks LeBron to Come to New York (Fuggedaboutit)

Maybe it’s just me, but doesn’t it seem like James Gandolfini is less James Gandolfini, and more Tony Soprano, his menacing alter ego?  The show’s been off the air for three years and I still can’t separate the two.

Soprano Gandolfini was on hand for Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards, and before presenting whatever award he was there to hand out, he had a few words for King James, who ended up taking home the award for Most Unstoppable Jock.

“First things first, LeBron I would like you to come to New York, if you could,” Gandolfini said

In other words, sign with the Knicks before I send Paulie Walnuts over to your house for a “visit.”

“If you miss Cleveland, you just have to drive across the bridge to New Jersey, it’s pretty much the same thing.”

Zing!  Nice rip on both Cleveland and Jersey.  Well played Gandolfini…well played.

Memo to LeBron–if Tony Soprano tells you to do something, you might want to do it.  Just sayin’.
