Bengals Cheerleader Wins $11 Million Defamation Suit, May Not See a Dime

Perhaps you’ve heard of Sarah Jones, the lovely Bengals cheerleader pictured here showing off her, umm, team spirit.  She seems nice, doesn’t she?  And she’s a high school teacher to boot.  And I’m just guessing here, but I bet she’s the favorite teacher of every red-blooded teenage boy in her class.

She’s my favorite teacher and I haven’t been in high school in 20 years.

Last year poor Miss Jones was the subject of a rather lurid story posted on the gossip website TheDirty.com.  The story discussed the sexual exploits Jones had participated in with members of the Bengals, as well as her ex-boyfriend, but worse was the claim that she had contracted a pair of STD’s.

Most ppl see Sarah has a gorgeous cheerleader AND highschool teacher.. yes she’s also a teacher.. but what most of you don’t know is.. Her ex Nate.. cheated on her with over 50 girls in 4 yrs.. in that time he tested positive for Chlamydia Infection and Gonorrhea.. so im sure Sarah also has both.. whats worse is he brags about doing sarah in the gym.. football field.. her class room at the school she teaches at DIXIE Heights.

…this is Sara J, Cincinnati Bengal Cheerleader. She’s been spotted around town lately with the infamous Shayne Graham. She has also slept with every other Bengal Football player. This girl is a teacher too!!

Pretty damning stuff, no?

Too bad it wasn’t true.

Jones sued TheDirty.com,  as well as Dirty World LLC, the Scottsdale-based company that runs the site, for libel and defamation.  Just yesterday it was announced that Miss Jones won her suit, and would receive $1 million in compensatory damages and $10 million in punitive damages.  That $11 million might not help clean up her damaged reputation, but her victory should make other gossip sites stop and think before posting a story that may be construed as libelous.

Unfortunately for Sarah Jones, she may not see one plug nickel of her settlement.  All because of a clerical error…a big, fat, stupid clerical error.

Seems Jones’ attorney royally screwed up—instead of TheDirty.com, the aforementioned owner, and site founder Hooman Karamian (aka Nik Ritchie) being sued, a similarly named website, TheDirt.com, and it’s parent company, Dirty World Entertainment Recordings, were the parties named in the lawsuit.  The judge ordered Dirty World Entertainment Recordings to pay Jones the $11 million, but now that the error has been discovered, there’s a pretty good chance that the ruling will be dismissed.

Poor girl.  Hopefully her attorney will make amends for his error and pay Jones some sort of compensation.  In the meantime, I would be glad to comfort Miss Jones in a very special, and not in the least bit inappropriate, way.

    Wow, after all the hoopla in court…then winning the case. What a big dissapointment. Especially after winning $11 million dollars. O well. At least you get to hang around some millionaires like OCHO CINCO and TERRELL OWENS….Stick to being a NFL Cincinnati Bengals Cheerleader!

    What else do cheer leaders do?? They jump around in skimmpy clothes and show off the bodies….come on. It’s a mindless practice but sex sells. Look @ Brent Fayre, did’nt he marry a Packer cheerleader…ooo go Brent go. Remenber that crazy school teacher that was banging that 14yr old kid? She eventually ended up marring him, what a world. This cheerleading school teacher slut is out for the bucks. She should get a hold of Tiger Woods, maybe she could pick up his golf game along with his putter.

    According to most rules of civil procedure if the proper parties answer a claim (when incorrectly identified in a complaint) a defense is not raised at trial it is waived and the party that answered is liable for any judgment. In reality thedirty.com’s lawyer is the dipshit who should get sued because he failed to raise this defense, which in and of itself, would not have caused the case to be dismissed but should have been amended.

    Apparently I should have read more than the AP article, thedirty.com never responded. The judgment will probably get thrown out. There is your civil procedure lesson for the day and also why to not believe shit on the internet.

    I had her last year in class, in my opinion she’s not a very good teacher. Her class was such a breeze and i was in the accelerated class. All the guys drool over her over-usage of makeup. The funnest part was that on her weigh in days for cheer leading, which she told us what day it was for some reason, we would bring in lots of fatty sweets and stuff just to be mean to her. haha

     Isn’t it amazing how the second someone reads something about anyone else online they instantly think they know all about them; and the instantly love them or hate them. Either way they somehow think they have the right to start talking shit about that person for absolutely no reason other than they have nothing better to do. Get out and get a life people; you don’t know this woman and she certainly never did anything to deserve your dick suckers flapping about her. If any of you had any self-respect at all you’d realize what assholes you are being and shut the fuck up.
