Billboard Erected Near LeBron’s Home Sure to be A Monumental Waste of Money

Oh look, another testament to the hatred of LeBron James by Cleveland fans, this time in giant billboard form.  Because nothing says “F–k You, LeBron!” like a roadside sign.

But this one’s different…this one is a scant two miles from James’ estate in Bath, Ohio.  And it’s up in time for a scheduled appearance by the Heat guard, as LeBron returns to Akron for his annual bike-a-thon charity event next weekend.

As per Newsnet5.com

A billboard says “Welcome Home LeBron,” but there is a big red ‘X’ over home.  The second line poses a question: “How does it feel to be a sidekick?,”  a reference to James’ decision to join Dwayne Wade on the Miami Heat.  Sidekick is underlined in red.  The message then ends with “Go Cleveland!” in gold letters.

The $3000 price tag for the billboard was put up by The Omada Group, a marketing company in Akron, and is situated on Route 18 eastbound between I-71 and I-77, so there’s a chance that James may see it on the way to his estate from the Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport…or not.

It’s more likely that one of the advisers in his entourage will see it, and give LeBron the gist of it–to which James will probably react with an enormous amount of indifference…as should anyone else who lays eyes on the sign.  Why?  Because it’s time to move on Clevelanders…he’s gone to Miami, and he ain’t never coming back.
