Chiefs WR Chris Chambers Marries His One-Time Stalker

This proves that love is not only blind, it’s stupid, creepy and totally insane.

Kansas City Chiefs WR Chris Chambers got hitched this past July, and his lucky new bride had quite the unconventional way of landing the man of her dreams.

See, the bride is none other than Stacey Bernice Saunders, a 27-year-old San Diego woman, who, this past December, was charged with stalking and harassing Chambers and members of his family, after the affair she and Chambers were having came to an end.

Allegedly Saunders had verbally attacked Chambers’ ex-wife, her mother and sister, with a barrage of abusive and vulgar emails, texts and phone calls.  This led to a restraining order filed by Chambers against his new bride in April of last year, but was dropped in June after neither Chambers or Saunders showed up for a hearing on the matter.

The couple exchanged vows in Las Vegas, a mere two days after Chambers’ divorce became final, an event sure to be celebrated by stalkers everywhere, now that one of their own has crossed that threshold and proven that yes, with enough angry, misanthropic letters, emails, voicemails, and a few nude photos, they too can one day grab the brass ring and live happily ever after, just like Stacey Bernice Chambers (nee Saunders).
