Chris Johnson and Faith Hill Share Lunch, Awkwardness

Titans RB Chris Johnson and country music singer Faith Hill recently got together to share some vittles and a little informal chit chat, thanks to the NFL Network.

What starts out as some folksy Q & A between two Music City icons turns awkward and uncomfortable faster than CJ outrunning a linebacker.

So, that was, um, something.  Those two go together like cocaine and waffles, which is my cutesy way of saying that they don’t go together very well at all.

Let’s go over what we learned here…

  • Deion Sanders’ lame joke about Hill and Johnson both being from the hood is nearly as crappy as that awful ensemble he’s wearing.  I mean, who chose that outfit for Sanders, Stevie Wonder?
  • Faith Hill thinks Chris Johnson is fast and exciting.  Johnson is aware that Faith Hill is famous for being a country music singer.
  • CJ gave Faith an autographed jersey, while she gave him nothing.  Someone’s getting fired for dropping the ball on that one.
  • Swett’s restaurant must be the most famous cafeteria in all of Tennessee.
  • Faith Hill is lovely.
  • Johnson likes to scarf down Wendy’s 10 piece chicken nugget meal on gamedays.  Hill likes to answer questions she asks other people, thinking that they actually care.
  • Faith Hill really, really digs CJ’s mouth full of gold teeth, jokes she should get some.  Seriously, this was actually part of the conversation…I wish I was making this up.

    Who Cares? Anyone would know that they wouldn’t go together. I think that was it’s purpose. I found it to be entertaining and sweet.
    I think people just like to nick pick every single thing.

    I actually thought it was nice and very interesting. so Faith didn’t have anything to give him,so what. she was nice and friendly. what was so awkward about that. and she knows a lot about football,her husband is a fanatic about it. I thought it was very interesting.

    I think “some” mistake his lack of articulation w/shyness = “oh that’s so cute.”

    Not a very good segment and Deion really doesn’t need to wear that EVER again. Looks like he’s waiting for a stagecoach to pull up at the hotel….

    1.) Faith don’t speak, I just want to look at you.
    2.) CJ, Signed Jersey, big ups. Faith at least send the kid a “Man’s” cowboy hat signed by you and your husband.
    3.) CJ, when she asked you about your teeth and tells you how she liked them, you’re suppose to call her bluff and tell her that you’ll make an appointment with your dentist and make sure she gets to it on time.
    4.) Flavie needs to pass the clock to Deion.

    Looked like a good meeting between 2 icons in Nashville. If you think they were going to hook up you’re nuts, but to have a meal and talk is exactly what they did and it was great. Both will for ever remember it just the way it was.

    OK a-holes with the racial overtones is it really needed?, it’s obvious they’re from different worlds and don’t know how to relate to each other but on normal occasions would never talk to each other now can relate to each other as people!!

    Why in the hell is there so much negativity coming from this video??? Is it because she is white and he is black?? Get the hell over it. Faith is a SPORTS FANATIC. She must know something about him or she would NOT have agreed to meet with him. What amazes me is how someone who clearly has little education makes millions because he can play ball. This is the world we live in. Its a shame that someone who does NOTHING but play ball makes that kind of money where as teachers (who in many ways are making this world a better place) get jack. This world is such a screwed up place indeed. Here is a little hint: the GOLD teeth are NO longer the look. They look ridiculous.
