DJ Kitty Wants Tampa Bay Fans to Cheer for the Rays, Lick Themselves

The Tampa Bay Rays see your Rally Monkey, and raise you one jersey wearing, record scratching cat.  The aptly named DJ Kitty is the team’s newest gimmick to get Tampa fans, all 300 of them, out of their seats, and into the game.

I don’t know about you, but I think there’s nothing quite as awesome as a cat who is a master of the crossfader.  Sure, DJ Kitty only knows one song (“Jump” by The Movement), but that’s not such a big deal when you consider he’s a freaking cat who deejays.

Too bad DJ Kitty’s talents are wasted in the vacuum that is Tropicana Field.

Wanna see DJ Kitty in action?  You know you do, so don’t fight it.  Give in to temptation and click here.

Here’s hoping that the Rays have a deep run in the playoffs, just so we can bask in the glory of DJ Kitty that much longer—well, at least long enough for him/her to become just another annoying internet meme.

Play him off, DJ Kitty!

UPDATE! So you don’t have to follow the link to get your fill of DJ Kitty, here’s the new YouTube video. Enjoy it while it lasts…
