Most television commercials are steaming piles of crap that are neither entertaining or informative. Rare is the ad that is worth watching, let alone worth watching more than once.
Thankfully the new NBA 2K11 commercial is none of the former, and all of the latter.
The ad features the surprisingly exceptional acting talents of NBA stars Rajon Rondo, Russell Westbrook, Andre Iguodala, Josh Smith and Derrick Rose. Throw in some funny lines, a few Michael Jordan clips from the game, and an impromptu slam dunk contest and what you come up with is gold Jerry…gold!

Bravo gentleman…bravo.
Best line in the commercial? Hands down it’s Josh Smith’s “Can’t eat sushi in Utah brother…landlocked.” Truer words were never spoken.
