Hairific! Patrick Kane’s Epic Mullet is Reborn for the Blackhawks Playoff Run

See what I did there? Hairific…terrific. It’s wordplay people—don’t hate me because I’ve mastered the art.

In case you had forgotten Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane’s gorgeous playoff mullet that sparked Chicago’s Stanley Cup victory a year ago, no worries, because it’s back baby! Like a phoenix rising in Arizona, or something like that, Patrick Kane’s flowing locks have once again been shaped into a Kentucky waterfall, complete with racing stripes down the side.

Said Kane…

“It’s back,” Kane said Monday as he stripped off his stocking cap prior to meeting with the media. “Hopefully I didn’t cut it into this for a short stint.”

“Right after the Minnesota game that was my first phone call, actually, to my barber and he made the trip downtown, opened up the shop and gave me a quick haircut.”

These playoffs are over now that Kane has harnessed the power of the mullet again. Chicago wins the Cup—book it, done—and now all that’s left is Kane’s always enjoyable three month celebratory drinking binge.

Can’t wait.

Playoff beards, good. Playoff mullets, bad.
