• Chad Ochocinco Would Like to Fill in for Chris Hansen, Should the Need Arise

  Now that NBC’s Chris Hansen, host of To Catch a Predator, has been caught himself having a steamy affair with a TV reporter 21-years his junior, ironically in a TCAP type sting set up by the National Enquirer no less, Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco let it be known via Twitter that he’s more than willing to step in for Hansen, should the disgraced host need to take some personal time, whether it be self imposed or suspension related.

• This Cross-Dressing Asian Male Cheerleader Has Got it Going On

  I don’t know if this guy is gay, straight, or both, but there’s no denying that the dude can dance with the best of them.  The fact that he’s wearing the uniform of a female cheerleader makes no never mind either–if you can get past that, you will realize just how fabulous his moves really are.

  If he’s doing the cross-dressing bit as a gag, then props for having the balls to do so in front of a gymnasium full of people.  If he’s wearing girl’s clothes because he’s a fancy boy, then, once again, my hat’s off to him for sashaying his pretty little self around the gym like that without an ounce of pretension.

  My only question is this—if he is straight, does dancing like Beyoncé while wearing a sparkly cheerleader’s outfit get this guy laid, because if it does…BAM!  There’s my new strategy for getting chicks.

• The New Mascot for the Amarillo Sox is Quite Dongtacular

  The Amarillo Sox of the independent American Association unveiled one of their two new mascots last Friday night, and if it was the designer’s idea to create a character that resembled a giant Sock like creature who seems very, very happy to see everyone, while at the same time providing nightmare fuel to all the impressionable young fans in attendance, then job well done.

• Dirk Nowitzki Finally More Loved in Germany Than David Hasselhoff

  That’s saying a lot because we all know how those Germans love them some Hoff.  But all it took for Dirk Nowitzki to usurp the title of most beloved entertainer away from Knight Rider was an NBA championship, and a return to his home country.

  Nowitzki returned to a hero’s celebration in his hometown of Wuerzburg, Germany, where roughly 3000 fans turned out to see the Mavericks forward parade through the streets, drink some fine German ale, and lead the crowd in yet another horrible rendition of Queen’s We Are The Champions from a balcony.

  Considering that the German people think the Hoff has actual singing talent, Nowitzki’s off key warbling probably didn’t sound too bad to them.  But bad it was, and someone should kindly inform Dirk, once the euphoria of winning the title wears off, that singing just ain’t his thing.

• Chris Bosh Hit Vegas for a Four Day Bachelor Party Minus His Miami Heat BFF’s

  Just weeks shy of his July wedding to Adrienne Williams, Chris Bosh and some buddies hit Las Vegas for a four day bachelor party dubbed “The Hangover 3.”  It was a wild four days for Bosh and his 12 man entourage which included Jarret Jack and Pops Mensah-Bonsuh from the New Orleans Hornets.

  Here’s a recap of the craziness for those of us not fortunate enough to receive an invite…

  • shortly after arriving in Vegas on Thursday, the gang headed to a shooting range
  • from there they went to N9NE steak house
  • Friday’s festivities included dinner at Lavo
  • following dinner the crew went to see everyone’s favorite shirtless emo magician, Criss Angel’ and his show Believe *squeals like a pre-teen girl at a Justin Bieber concert*
  • after the show Bosh and the gang went to Boom Box at Marquee
  • Saturday included a rousing game of paintball and some partying at Tao
  • their final day, Sunday, saw the baker’s dozen partake in a “Rat Pack” casino night at Caesars and a Mark Curry comedy show Read more ›

   

• Yao Ming Would Like You to Say Hello to His Little Friend

  Hey why not grow a beard?  It’s not like Tiger Woods doesn’t have the time, and it’s not like Gillette is sponsoring him anymore, so might as well try and shake things up with a stylish, well-groomed beard. I think it looks good on him myself—elegant yet manly.

• This Tremendous, Hand Drawn Picture of Larry Bird is Yours for the Taking

  This hand drawn facsimile of Celtics legend Larry Bird is available on eBay right this very moment, and the current bidding is surprisingly low at a mere $2.29 with three full days left before the auction closes.  Seeing the replica right next to the original picture that inspired it really shows off how talented the artist is with a pencil and a piece of loose leaf paper.

• Here’s a Custom Joe Mauer Jersey for the Excessively Hairy Twins Fan

  You better believe some hirsute Twins fan shaved Joe Mauer’s name and number into his back hair.  With the price of a customized jersey these days, can you really blame him?  I don’t know whether to be disgusted, impressed, both or neither.  Since it involves shaved back hair, usually I’d go with disgusted, but I hate to admit that it looks pretty fine for a homemade custom jersey.
