Dirk Nowitzki and His Gangliness Threw Out the First Pitch at Rangers-Mets Game

Newly crowned NBA Finals MVP Dirk Nowitzki was on hand at Friday’s Mets-Rangers game at the Ballpark in Arlington to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Considering he’s a 7-foot tall German basketball player, Dirk’s first pitch didn’t suck. Sure it was a bit awkward and gangly looking, but at least he didn’t pull a John Wall.

I’m pretty sure Derek Dilday was impressed with Nowitzki’s pitching prowess—or at least his ass was. Maybe Dilday can get a recreation of Dirk’s first pitch on his other ass cheek, just to balance things out.
