The Aftermath of an Adrian Gonzalez Line Drive to the Midsection Looks Painful

Sweet merciful crap is that nasty.  Pretty sure if you look hard enough at that ginormous bruise, you can see the face of Jesus…or at the very least, the word “Rawlings” and a bunch of baseball stitching.  Also, there’s a street map of Kearney, Nebraska in there somewhere.

White Sox reliever Jesse Crain tweeted this photo after taking a line drive to the torso off the bat of Red Sox first baseman Adrian Gonzalez during a game against Boston on May 30.  Not only did it leave this horrific looking hematoma, but it also knocked Crain out of the game.

Insult, meet injury.
