Giants RB Brandon Jacobs rushed for 101-yards and a pair of scores in New York’s 37-34, come-from-behind victory over the Dallas Cowboys. While Jacobs’ second score was the eventual game winner, it was his first touchdown that elicited the funkiest of celebrations this side of Dance Fever. It was sassy, it was provocative, and it tied Jacobs with Tiki Barber on the Giants all-time touchdown list with 55.
It also included the most hip thrusting seen in Cowboys Stadium since the couple in matching Michael Irvin jerseys did the deed on the bathroom floor…only nastier. The fact that he performed his dirty dancing on the Cowboys star couldn’t have sat too well with the Dallas fans, but look on the bright side, love him or hate him (probably the latter if you’re a Cowboys supporter), for a big man Jacobs has a surprisingly flexible pelvis.
Video of the Jacobs’ somewhat erotic TD celebration follows the jump…
Anyone hoping for an encore performance when Jacobs scored his second TD of the night was sorely disappointed, because instead of getting all jiggy with it again, the Giants back only pointed to the sky and embraced a teammate, instead of doing what he should have, namely grabbing D.J. Ware and busting out in impromptu version of the Argentine tango.
Maybe next time.
