Australian Open Ball Boy Makes a Slick Catch During Federer-Nadal Match

Obviously this ball boy wasn’t content just to chase loose balls all over the court, instead choosing to use his panther-like reflexes to snag a ball hit his way during Thursday’s Federer-Nadal semi-final match at the Australian Open.  While our ball boy ninja didn’t get any recognition from either player, at least the appreciative crowd gave him some applause for his sick catch, as they should have.

Video follows the jump…

I find the lack of slow-mo replay to be somewhat disturbing.  A catch like that deserves a slow-mo replay, preferably set to the Chariots of Fire theme song.
