Fan Gets Weekend of a Lifetime After Calling Out Chad Ochocinco on Twitter

You probably read that tweet from Chad Ochocinco in response to Victor Gonzalez (@Vic13NYY) calling him out for ignoring him on Twitter for the past two years and thought that Ocho was just blowing smoke up Gonzalez’s rear end.  If this is what you thought, you don’t know how wrong you are.

Proving once again that he’s one of the best athletes when it comes to interacting with his fans, Ochocinco was true to his word and flew Gonzalez, a college student from Fort White, Florida to Foxboro this Friday, all on his dime just so that he could repay Gonzalez’s persistence with a ticket to the Patriots divisional playoff game against the Broncos, a hotel room, and, of course, the flight up.

And if you still don’t believe the veracity of the story of  Ocho’s goodwill, this picture will definitely make you change your tune…

Yep, that’s Victor Gonzalez with the New England receiver shortly after arriving in Foxboro.  The pair also had dinner together, and from the sounds of it, Ocho plans on treating Victor to some Pats gear before the game on Saturday.

Some love him, some hate him, but whatever side of the fence you fall on when it comes to Chad Ochocinco, not only is he still the undisputed king of Twitter, but you have to admit he’s a man of his word.

The fans, trash talking, and excitement are  the only reason football still exist after they turned it into a gentleman’s league of pink wearing pansies.  Thank you Chad Johnson for keeping me entertained and watching!

Two years is a long time. I’m surprised Ochocinco wasn’t worried the guy was some crazy stalker. Linked at my site http://www.thepowerwire.com
