2012 NFL Sticker album cover features two New York teams’ QBs, neither of which is Mark Sanchez

Let the dissing of Mark Sanchez begin!

I honestly didn’t know that sticker albums were still around, but apparently they are, and the 2012 NFL sticker album’s cover features six of the game’s prominent players.  The usual suspects you’d think would be there are there—Aaron Rodgers, Calvin Johnson, Cam Newton, Gronk—plus two quarterbacks from the teams based in New York.  Giants starter Eli Manning is obviously one, but the other is Jets backup Tim Tebow, whose inclusion is based purely on the man’s popularity amongst football fans and not his skills, which I totally get.  But why not throw a defensive player on there—Ray Lewis, Patrick Willis, or Jared Allen come to mind—instead of Tebow?  Not only would the defensive side of the NFL be represented, but it would also quell any controversy that might arise from having the Jets backup QB on the cover, instead of their incumbent starter.

If he actually sees this, I’m sure it won’t sit well with Mark Sanchez.
