Back to the Future: Awesome DeLorean Hovercraft spotted in McCovey Cove during Rockies-Giants game

“Roads?  Where we’re going, we don’t need roads.”

Spotted in the waters of McCovey Cove during last night’s Rockies-Giants game was this crazy beautiful homemade DeLorean Hovercraft.  The awesome water-going vehicle is owned by a Matthew Riese, who was able to create this masterpiece with $5,500 in funding from Kickstarter.  The only thing missing from Riese’s DeLorean is eccentric Doc Brown and a fully functioning flux capacitor, but the man only had $5,500 to work with so we’ll cut him some slack.

Besides, even without those extras this Back to the Future hovercraft is 1.21 gigawatts of awesomeness.
