Brett Hull trolls the entire city of Buffalo with this brilliant “No Goal” Jack-o’-lantern

For those of you unawares of the history between former NHL sniper Brett Hull and the city of Buffalo, the Dallas Stars beat the Buffalo Sabres in triple-OT in Game 6 of the 1999 Stanley Cup finals on Brett Hull’s highly controversial “skate in the crease” goal.  Other than Scott Norwood’s infamous “wide right” kick in Super Bowl XXV, it’s pretty well the most painful moment in Buffalo sports history, so you can understand why Buffalo fans were a little upset with Hull posting the above Jack-o’-lantern depicting said Cup winning goal on Twitter, in the process trolling every Sabres fan in the Queen city.

Here’s the original picture for comparisons sake…

Think that after 13 years Buffalonians have gotten over the blown call?  Judging by the venomous responses from Sabres fans , I’ll say they fail to see the humor in Hull’s fantastic pumpkin creation.
