MMA instructor levels student with vicious punch during teaching session

This wasn’t in the brochure.

From our good friends at Cosby Sweaters comes this video of a MMA instructor demonstrating a right hook to his class.  He calls on one of the students to assist him in showing proper technique, and then takes things a bit further when the student goes from willing assistant to human punching bag.

Here comes the boom…

The sympathy for this poor schlub is overwhelming. Not only do his fellow classmates laugh at his misfortune, but the instructor—who moments earlier nearly broke his jaw—gives him a little “get up, ya pussy” kick as he’s lying on the ground in obvious pain.  Nice touch.

That was not cool at all.  I hope the instructed gets his S kicked real good, along with all the students that were laughing at the victim. I would like to see how this MMA instructor would do if he reversed rolls with the student he used as a human punching bag. My bet would be the student would knock his S out. What a scum bag.

Let’s see…I originally wrote this post on October 13, 2012, and the full length version of the video was uploaded to YouTube October 29, 2012, so yeah, kind of hard to do research when the only vid available was the original one.

The author, Jeff Greenwell, is an idiot.

Perhaps he should do a bit of research (ie 2 minutes of googling) to realise this video is a hilarious prank.

Perhaps I would if I hadn’t written this post back in October 2012, and not today. So yeah, if I had written it today, or even this month, I would have realized this was a prank…but at the time all that was on the Internet was the 30 second clip I used in the original post.

Right. So basically you’re saying you’ve had 7 months to update the article, but you havent.

        • http://lastangryfan.com LastAngryFan

Of course…why bother updating it now? Unless it had come to light that this was a prank a few days after I did the article, I normally wouldn’t update a post, especially one as generic as this one. There’s no point. The only reason it’s getting traffic today was someone uploaded it to Reddit, and that’s how I found out it was a prank.
