Swedish hockey player scores the always clever “hide the puck in your pants” goal

Djurgarden’s Alexander Wennberg scored a hat trick in his team’s 6-2 victory over Leksand in second-tier Swedish league HockeyAllsvenskan action this past Sunday, and his second goal is the topic of discussion here, as Wennberg scored the rarely seen—and difficult to execute—“hide the puck in your pants and drop it in the net” goal, which probably wasn’t a real thing until Wennberg actually pulled it off.

After the referees reviewed the goal the bizarre scoring play was upheld, and Wennberg was credited with possibly the strangest goal of the year so far.

That’s so cheap. It looked like he pooped the puck. How is that even legal?
