Former Giants running back Tiki Barber was on the Howard Stern Show this morning, and he dropped this gem of a quote that was shared with the masses by Jimmy Traina via Twitter, much to the delight of all of us who don’t listen to Stern or don’t subscribe to Sirius Satellite Radio.
This can be interpreted two ways. One is that Tiki Barber, like Traina says, has absolutely no idea what the difference is between the words literally and figuratively. Seeing that Barber is a tad more intelligent than most ex-athletes, and that he seems to be quite articulate and verbose, I find it hard to believe that he would confuse those two words. Therefore, Tiki meant exactly what he said—that you could drop a deuce on him and he will still be nice to you—which means he’s bucking for a sainthood or something, because outside of scatologists, no one in their right mind would be cool with being shat on by another human being. Trust me, I speak from experience.
