Reporters doing live shots have enough to worry about without having drunks come up and accost them during their broadcast, even when the location is the always bacchanalian Bourbon Street in New Orleans. Jessica Sanchez, of WKMG in Orlando, reporting on the Super Bowl from the Big Easy, reaches her breaking point with a videobomber who interrupts her live broadcast.
What happens next is nothing short of pure brilliance. Making the drunken videobomber think she’s about to be interviewed, Sanchez asks her how long she’s had an STD while on camera. After a few steadfast denials and a final “49errrsss!” the interviewee slinks off into the New Orleans night, confident in the fact that she convinced Sanchez and the world she doesn’t have the clap.
