Colorado girls’ high school basketball player nailed a nearly full-court shot with one bounce

bounce shotThis doesn’t really classify as a buzzer beater seeing that it came with :15 seconds left in the 3rd quarter, and no buzzer was beaten, but the timing of the shot matters very little. What’s important is that this is, without the slightest hint of hyperbole, the GREATEST SHOT IN GIRLS’ HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL HISTORY!!! (Ed. note: until the next crazy ridiculous prayer of a shot goes in).

The young lass with the skills to pay the bills is Anna Olsen of Lewis-Palmer High School in Colorado, and her nearly full-court heave was nothing short of magical. Sure it will only go down as a long distance 3-pointer, but sweet sexy jeebus, Olsen’s Harlem Globetrotter-esque one bounce shot will undoubtedly be the most amazing trey of her basketball career, bar none.

Lewis-Palmer won the game 30-22, which means Olsen’s one hopper accounted for 1/10th of her team’s total points. It also means that girls’ high school basketball in Colorado isn’t exactly big on scoring or excitement, save for this one incredible moment.
