Sometimes life hands you something so beautiful, so exquisite, and so unexpected that it truly is beyond description, and there’s nothing you can do but sit there in quiet awe at the sight in front of you. Then there are the times life drops some old dude practicing kung fu in a Food Lion parking lot in Richmond, Virginia, right into your lap, because nunchuks.
I could sit and listen to this guy’s commentary on the action all day long. Smooth delivery, with a perfect interspersing of references to Easter and Christ’s resurrection. Makes me wish this guy would narrate my life…he’s the Morgan Freeman of the middle class, the Al Michaels of the parking lot set, the James Earl Jones of amateur martial artists.
“One man. One Lord. One Faith. One Baptism. Two nunchucks.”
