Baseball grandma’s celebration after catching home run ball is infectious

Catching a home run—or to a lesser extent, a foul ball—at a Major League baseball game seems like it would be a pretty big deal. Having never been lucky enough to catch one or the other, I’m just assuming this is a true statement. Fortunately I can now vicariously experience the absolute pleasure it gives someone to catch a home run ball at a big league game, thanks to this adorable grandmother, who snagged a homer off the bat of John Mayberry Jr. in the 3rd inning of yesterday’s Phillies-Mets game…

Excited fan

That right there is one excited baseball grandma. What a priceless reaction, and what a lucky kid that not only gets a trip to a baseball game AND a home run ball, but also gets to enjoy having a grandmother like that who knows how to properly celebrate the good things in life.
