As far as massive rugby hits go, this one may be the most massivest

Rugby is a sport not meant for sissies or the faint of heart, mainly because of the bone-jarring hits players level against one another without a stitch of protective equipment on them. The game lends itself to these massive tackles, and this one, from a recent high school rugby match in New Zealand, may be the massivest we’ve ever come across, and that’s saying alot.

The hitter is Ruslan Casey from Wanganui Collegiate, and the poor gaffer on the receiving end of that brutal hit was Kip Fawcett, a young lad from St. Paul’s Collegiate, who deserves much praise and recognition for taking a massive hit like that and getting right up without complaint.

Here’s the devastation in GIF form…

Rugby hit

I don’t know much about New Zealand, but I do know one thing—they breed some of the toughest, rugby playing kids in the world.
