Colorado fire provides frighteningly impressive backdrop for HS baseball game

The Black Forest fire—already the most destructive fire in state history—is burning through Colorado at an alarming rate, with firefighters virtually unable to extinguish it, thanks to continued high temperatures and gusting winds. Pine Creek High School is on the fringe of the evacuation area, which led to this impressive, and not to mention frightening, picture of the school’s baseball team as they play a game with a huge plume of smoke in the distance.

Credit for this amazing photo goes to Pine Creek student Pete McEvoy, who uploaded the pic to his Twitter account with the hashtag #PrayForColorado.
