Kendrick Perkins sold his loveable English bulldog via his Twitter account

Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins ran into a bit of a dilemma recently. Seems he had no other choice but to get rid of his beloved 10-month-old English bulldog, and instead of selling the pup using the normal avenues (ie. pet adoption agencies), Perk made a plea to his over 55,000 Twitter followers in the hopes that one of them would take the pooch, asking price $1,500, off his hands.

Here’s how it all went down…

Bids? Is Perk privy to some underground dog auction, because as far as anyone knows, eBay doesn’t allow people to sell live animals on their site.

Looks like there was some interest, but judging by the tone of Perkins’ tweet, nothing too serious. Surprising really once you see the mug on the big man’s adorable puppy…

Perks bulldog

Who wouldn’t love a face like that, what with the ridiculous underbite, piggish nose, and overactive salivary glands? Apparently a lot of Perkins’ followers, because not even an hour after putting the request on the Twitterverse, the dog was gone.

Hopefully the adorable canine’s new owners treat him as well as Perk and his family did, because let’s be honest, there aren’t too many things in this world that are awesomer than dogs.
