Two teenage girls survive harrowing parasailing accident in Florida (VIDEO)

Two teenage girls got the ride of their lives yesterday in Panama City, Florida, when their parasail broke loose from the boat pulling them due to high winds from an offshore storm, sending them flying into the side of a hotel building before getting tangled in some power lines and dropping into a condominium parking lot, directly onto a parked car.

The two girls were rushed to hospital, and are said to be in critical condition. They have now been identified as 17-year-olds Sidney Renea Good and Alexis Fairchild, both of whom are from Roanoke, Ind.

Here’s raw video of the frightening incident (NSFW due to language)…

And a couple of screengrabs showing the damage to the hotel complex and the vehicle the girls landed on…

Considering what these two young ladies went through, they’re extremely lucky to be alive. I think it’s safe to assume that neither of the girls will be parasailing in the near or distant future. Here’s to a full and speedy recovery for the both of them.
