Antonio Smith ripped Richie Incognito’s helmet off, tried hitting him with it

The NFL is investigating an ugly incident that took place during Saturday night’s preseason game between the Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins, in which Texans DE Antonio Smith is caught on video ripping off Dolphins guard Richie Incognito’s helmet, then taking a swing at the Miami lineman’s head with it…

Hard to tell if Smith connected on his wild swing or not, but that didn’t stop Fins coach Joe Philbin from contacting the league office about a possible suspension for Smith’s reckless antics. The bad blood between these two players dates back to a 2012 game where Smith claimed Incognito was intentionally holding and twisting his leg, which led the Houston defender to repeatedly kick Incognito in the head.

Can’t see how Smith avoids suspension on this one, especially with such a damning piece of evidence as this.
