HS football player Dalton Souders blocks punt twice on same play

This is one of those “you have to see it to believe it” types of play, as high schooler Dalton Souders of the Rennselaer Central Bombers (IN) pulls off the special teams play of the millenium when he blocked a punt by opponent Central Catholic, then repeated the feat on the same play after the Knights punter tried to boot the football a second time. One of Souders teammates recovered the second blocked punt in the end zone for the special teams touchdown.

Dalton’s incredible effort garnered top spot on SportsCenter’s Top 10, and rightfully so. Blocked punts are rare enough in their own right, but two blocked punts on the same play is just unheard of.
