Brayden Schenn takes skate to the midsection, still scores OT winner

Flyers forward Brayden Schenn was on the receiving end of New Jersey’s Dainius Zubrus’ wayward skate after laying a bodycheck on the Devils forward on Tuesday night. The skate blade to the midsection left quite the gash on Schenn’s torso, as you can see in the picture below…

Whaddya know, Schenn has an innie, not an outie.

Since we’re talking hockey and the macho toughness that all hockey players exude,  Schenn didn’t miss any action, and went on to score the OT winner in the Flyers’ 3-2 victory.
