Chipper Jones plays accidental arsonist, sets his backyard on fire

Chipper Jones has a lot of time on his hands now that he’s retired from baseball, so he keeps busy with hunting and fishing and outdoorsy stuff. Chipper also helps out around the house with chores and whatnot, but after what happened when Jones cleaned out the fireplace earlier today, he might not be asked to help out around the house again…

How bad could the fire have been? If these pictures from Chipper’s lady friend Taylor Higgins are any indication, pretty damn bad…

Chipper’s lucky he didn’t burn down the whole freaking forest. You’d figure a guy who spends so much time outdoors would know how to dispose of smoldering ashes properly, but here we are.
