And just such a play happened earlier this month during a high school game between the Lick-Wilmerding Tigers and the University Red Devils.  It wasn’t a straight steal of home but more of a delayed steal after a pitch in the dirt, and the runner, Tigers 2nd baseman Drew Forrest, exhibited some questionable, albeit crafty baserunning to plate the winning run in the bottom of the 8th, but the ump’s call stood and the wild play will live on for eternity.

Enjoy it now because it may be decades before you see another walk-off steal of home, if ever…

I can’t even “Walk the Dog” without knotting up the string six times and nearly hanging myself, and this guy is pulling off the old tablecloth trick like some yo-you wielding boss.  And his stage name is Black?  Oh yeah, this guy is so swaggerific you can’t watch that video more than once, lest you pass out from all his awesomeness.

Not sure what possesses a grown man to act like he’s having some sort of bizarre epileptic fit while standing behind a female sports reporter during her in-game analysis, unless it’s to be able to tell his friends that he was famous for a whole 22-seconds, a feat which will surely leave his friends as unimpressed as Hogan most likely was when she saw this replay.

Baseball fans take my advice—if you’re that desperate to get your mug on television, try and come up with something a little better than this guy’s effort.  I may not like you or your act, but damn it, I’ll respect you…somewhat anyway.

When you see the video you’ll understand why she’s hanging her head in shame.

Many of you probably didn’t know that tennis sensation Caroline Wozniacki did a little singing when’s she’s not underachieving on the tennis court.  Well she does, and now she’s released her first video for the single Oxygen.  Here’s a warning before you watch the video—it’s all techno and auto-tune and tennis references, and not even the endearing cuteness of Wozniacki can save this steaming pile of dreck.

Let’s just say as a pop music star, Wozniacki is a helluva tennis player.  And let me tell ya, she ain’t much of a tennis player.

Blech.  Needs more McIlroy.

Maybe Wozniacki should spend more time working on her tennis game, and less time making terrible music and equally terrible videos.  Just a thought.

The professors seemed rather unfazed at the sight of a gaggle of football players in pads and helmets entering their classroom en masse, but I’m sensing that this isn’t’ the first time players from the football team have pulled off a stunt like this.  One of them even answered a question in organic chemistry—possibly safety T.J. McDonald—and according to QB Matt Barkley, his teammate nailed the right answer.  Knowing how difficult a course organic chemistry is, that may be more impressive than any feat performed on a football field.

Kid’s not even a year old and already he’s a zillion times more fashionable than me.

Bubba Watson tweeted out a couple of photos of his son Caleb’s matching green jacket, and a cuter child’s outfit you will not see.  Watson and his wife Angie adopted now 2-month-old Caleb just weeks before his Masters victory, and now father and son will be on equal footing when it comes to style, thanks to the adorable miniature green jacket given to Watson as a gift.

Besides being ridiculously cute, the cost to dry clean Caleb’s green jacket will be a fraction of what it would cost for his old man’s because it’s such a wee little garment.

This isn’t the first time we’ve featured a play like this here, but considering the rarity of pulling off such a feat when you’re on both the giving and receiving end of a sweet lob pass, and the increased degree of difficulty, this is definitely in the running for goal of the year.

All of a sudden I have a craving for sausages and rump roast.

According to Craig Gass’ Facebook page, this was the scene at a Safeco Field concession stand this past April 15.  The scene from Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, where the titular character and his companion Azamat wrestle naked in a hotel room was somehow featured prominently on a TV screen for all hungry Mariners fans to witness.  Thankfully the naughty bits seem to have been blacked out, and we can only hope they cut scene before the climatic moment when Borat ends up with Azamat’s balls on his face.

Kids, parents, and M’s fans buying peanuts and soda don’t need to be subjected to that disgraceful and disgusting display.  Just kidding—not only is that hilarious, but whoever had the cajones to pull that off deserves a medal and parade in their honor.

I’m sure a lot of cocksure 20-somethings will think they can best Moyer’s 78-mph, but I have a feeling those folks are going to be in for a big surprise.  I’d be willing to bet that the Miracle only have to pay out maybe a handful of the free ducats they’re offering, unless a roving gang of retired pitchers show up at the ballpark for some odd reason, which seems highly unlikely.

Not as cool as a bobblehead or fridge magnet schedule, but still, you gotta the Miracle credit where credit is due—as far as gameday promotions go, this is as clever as they come.

This may be the most bromantic thing I’ve ever seen.

Good to see Bruins defenseman Andrew Ference is secure enough in his sexuality to play “Rose” to Zdeno Chára’s “Jack.”  Of course, when you’re paired up with a 6-foot-9, 255-pound beast from Slovakia, you pretty well have no choice but to play any feminine role in your blossoming bromance.  Pretty sure had Chara been on the original Titanic the iceberg wouldn’t have stood a chance.

Stare at this picture long enough and you’ll swear you can smell the sea while Celine Dion ‘s My Heart Will Go On plays softly in your ear.
