No doubt the final tally will be much higher when the auction finishes, which is pretty amazing considering the selling point of the ball is that it is signed by Humphries, who was recently voted the most disliked player in the NBA, and Kardashian, a not unattractive woman known for her bulbous posterior and zero talent, unless you count becoming famous for starring in a homemade porn video talent, which it very well may be.

Fans can now bid on an official Major League baseball autographed by both reality TV star Kim Kardashian and soon-to-be former husband and Minneapolis, Minnesota native Kris Humphries.

“We have as far as we know, a one-of-a-kind item – a baseball with both of their signatures which we believe is best used to raise incremental funds for the good works of the Community Fund,” said Kevin Smith, executive director of public affairs for the Twins.

The baseball up for auction was signed by the ill-fated couple prior to the Friday July 1, 2011 game at Target Field. Kris Humphries threw out a ceremonial first pitch that evening. Fans now have the opportunity to bid on this unique piece of memorabilia with proceeds benefitting the Minnesota Twins Community Fund.

Unfortunately the winner of the auction only gets to keep the ball for 72 days.

Not very often that you get to see true Boston royalty decked out in full regalia, but there is the one and only King Jamrakk taking in the Celtics-Knicks game Friday night, robed in his finest linens and dress clothes.  To me that breathtaking outfit screams one word, and one word only…classy.

To the kid behind King Jamrakk, I’m sure the only word he has for that get-up is obstructive.

Metta was asked about the Lakers upcoming six-game road trip, but instead of road trips, he interpreted the reporter’s query to be about roaches.  And that was all World Peace needed to go on a pleasant side trip to crazy town, taking us all along for the wacky ride.  I’m sure the artist formerly known as Ron Artest was just playing with reporter Melissa Rohlin, but then again, the man did legally change his name to Metta World Peace, so who the hell knows anymore.

Sure he’s not one of the premier players in the NBA, but when you want an honest and funny interview with enough soundbites to fill a warehouse, Metta World Peace is your man.

I’m not sure what’s funnier—Love getting nailed in the groin with a basketball, or the announcer referring to the fallen Minnesota player’s testicles as his “Love Stomach.”  I sure hope this euphemism for testes catches on, because it will ease the uncomfortableness of telling my doctor about the swelling and discoloration I frequently get in my “Love Stomach.”

Watching someone get hit in the crotch with an object will never not be funny to me.

Say what you will about LeBron James, but the man can play basketball.  The way he finishes off this alley-oop from Dwyane Wade by going over the Bulls’ John Lucas is about as impressive as it gets. King James flies over the 5-foot-11 Lucas like he was a prop in a slam dunk contest, which, in a way, I guess he was.

Expect ESPN to feature this remarkable play by LeBron quite extensively over the next 24 to 48 hours, because hey, that’s their thing.

How bad was that free throw attempt by DeSagana Diop? I doubt that was even within 3-feet of the rim. Even if Diop is a 7-foot-tall center from Senegal, that is a poor effort on his part. No wonder Charlotte dropped a 102-99 decision to the nearly as pathetic Wizards tonight.

That 10-second video clip perfectly sums up the Bobcats season to this point…ugly.

Nowitzki embraced his short-lived role as color man with such verve and elan that if you closed your eyes you thought you were listening to Gus Johnson, only with a German accent and a better jump shot.  Dirk can definitely use this as an audition tape should he ever seek a post-basketball career as a basketball announcer.

With this performance Dirk Nowitzki officially passed bratwurst as the greatest thing to ever come from Germany.

See people, like I’ve been trying to tell you, hard work and determination rarely pays off.  All this high school basketball player’s hustle results in is an absolutely insane 3-pointer for the other team, and a starring role in a soon-to-be viral video.

Unintentionally scoring three points for the other team is bad enough, but imagine if this guy’s team had lost by three or less?  Hopefully they did, so at least this kid learns to stuff his hustle in a sack and act more like the rest of us lazy, no-good bums.

For such a big man this 76ers fan, known affectionately as “Big Daddy,” has some surprisingly sweet dance moves.  At the 32-second mark he even manages to work the Truffle Shuffle into his extensive repertoire .  Talk about keeping things fresh.

Although fresh probably isn’t the word to best describe Big Daddy at the end of a game.  All that dancing leads to profuse sweating, which leads to some seriously funky body odor.  Oh well, at least he’s getting some exercise in.

You should recognize the film clips used in the making of this tremendous video, and for sure you’ll recognize the players, coach and owner of the NBA champions.  I’m not sure what I find funnier though—the clips of Rick Carlisle, Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd and the rest of the Mavs shaking their moneymakers thanks to the magic of software and the Internet, or the fact that the only person that they didn’t have to copy and paste for his dancing scenes was owner Mark Cuban.  For once in my life I’m thankful that ABC’s dreadful Dancing With the Stars actually exists.
