Guess who fared better when a campus bus collided with a Texas Tech football player?
Texas Tech football player Austin Stewart was cruising around campus on his scooter Wednesday morning when he was hit by a campus shuttle bus. Luckily the junior safety wasn’t seriously hurt, and his injuries are being reported as minor, according to RedRaiderSports.com.
As you can see from this picture, the same can’t be said for the bus, which came out on the losing end of the collision. Apparently a 6-foot-2, 200-pound football player on a scooter is not match for a five ton bus.
Keep in mind that this wasn’t a standard size city bus, but rather one that many schools used to shuttle students back and forth across campus. That doesn’t make the fact that Stewart fared better in a collision than the shuttle bus did any less impressive. Read more ›
